The 1 1/2 qt size is great for my small family.This dish and lid can be used in the oven, microwave, as well as the refrigerator. This is versatility at its simplest. Pyrex has been around for a very long time and their products are reliable as well as have stood the test of time. I have inherited various pyrex bakeware from parents and grandparents. once washed they are the same as new. They are still made in the US.
Great bowl - I use it to cook vegetables in the microwave a lot. PErfect size for me.
This is a perfect sized casserole dish for a small family. It's a hard to find size and the price on Amazon was just right.
the last pyrex dish we recieved over 25 years ago,was fron an empty apartment abandoned by its owner. its age unknown we used it till it finally broke may of 08. so now we own a 2 quart and a 1.5 quart so it should last thru my 24 year olds family or at least the next 20 years. good job pyrex for making a real good product.
